Our
Story

The Sue Belcher Centre was built in the early 90's for use by the local community, it was named in honour of Bradford council's former Keighley area co-ordinator, who died in a Lake District climbing accident. Sue Belcher helped Bracken Bank residents set up several groups and build the community centre. In honour of the lady who gave so much to her community, the centre is still very much in use.

Today, the centre is Committee-led by the Bracken Bank and District Community Association and offers social and exercise groups, regular family-fun events, help and advice for people in the local community, and a space that is available to hire for community events, parties and meetings.
